The same eight product lines go into very different jobs. The notes below describe what is normally specified in each sector — useful when you are writing a specification or checking that a customer's requirement makes sense.

Construction and scaffolding
Wire rope clips for bracing and guy lines, shackles for lifting and positioning, and quick links or snap hooks for fast connections. Hot-dip galvanised finish is the norm for site exposure.

Marine, ports and ship chandlery
Shackles, snap hooks and swivels for rigging, mooring lines, guardrails and cargo lashing. Corrosion resistance drives the specification — hot-dip galvanising or AISI 316 stainless depending on the duty and the budget.

Utilities, power and telecoms
Wire rope clips for guy wires on poles and masts, and eye bolts and eye nuts for anchoring. Consistent thread fit and traceable marking matter because the hardware is installed once and left for years.
Agriculture and livestock
Snap hooks, quick links and wire rope clips for fencing, trellising, animal enclosures and general on-farm fixing. Duty is generally light, and electro-galvanised or hot-dip finish is chosen by exposure.

Mining, quarrying and heavy industry
Higher-grade shackles, with quenched and tempered material where the duty or the size requires it. Traceability and inspection documentation are commonly specified by the operator.
Transport, logistics and load restraint
Snap hooks, quick links and wire rope clips for lashing and load restraint, plus shackles for making up and repairing restraint assemblies.
Outdoor structures and leisure
Shade sails, playground and fitness equipment, signage, yacht rigging and architectural cable systems. Appearance can matter as much as load — which is where stainless and powder-coated finishes come in.
